More like megaman than anything Capcom has done for Megaman in years, good on you Nintendo. May buy a Wii just to support this. Wish i could prevent Capcom from getting royalties.

ugh wanted to skip the wiiu. think i can still do it so long as the 3ds smash is decent.

So far, I think they're the same game with slightly different visuals and all different levels, but I don't know for sure. Wii U version will probably have online, though.

I'd get a Wii U just for Smash. It'll play better on a controller than a handheld anyway.
