In my Dosage Forms class, I had a British professor who explained the difference between tablets and capsules. She mentioned that "pills" were entirely different, that they were a soft material that was rolled out, but I never really understood what she meant because she didn't explain further and no one really makes "pills" anymore.

Only one I remember is grains because Armour Thyroid is still measured in grains.
