In the interest of fact checking, This user suggests that the numbers cited in the slate article are exaggerated by including several incidents that perhaps shouldn't be classified as an incident of terrorism. This doesn't completely upend the premise of the article, but I wouldn't want anyone here to accidentally fall into the same hole of intellectual dishonesty that seems to be plaguing the country of late.

I guess it depends on how you define "terrorist attack" - the ones listed in the Reddit article seem to be more like hate crimes to me. Quite possibly more to them than what is mentioned in the linked articles as well.
