Same goes for claw machines and anything where you have to stop a light, move a coin, etc. You set the win rate in the machine settings and it pays out at that ratio.

Pinball games that "match" your score with a random number at the end are the same. It's not random so much as a %. So you set it to match 10% of the time and it will do it at this rate on average, has nothing to do with the score you get.

Reminds me of all those nights Arjun and I almost won a 3DS on the stacking machine at the movie theater.
